New 4-Bay Device Registration & Upgrade Instructions

This process applies only to newly purchased, unused 4-bay devices. If you purchased your device earlier and it is already in normal use, please continue using the legacy app. If you have already upgraded to the ZeroNAS system, please disregard this notice.

⚠️ WARNING: The following operation will upgrade the device to the new system version and will result in the loss of all historical data! Please strictly ensure your device is in a brand-new, unused state before proceeding.

Steps:

1. 1.After installing the app, ensure your phone and the NAS are on the same local network (LAN).
2. 2.Click "New Device Registration" to start the process and select your device.
3. 3.The system will automatically detect the device and complete the upgrade. The time required depends on your network speed.

Critical Note: Throughout the entire upgrade process, you must keep the NAS device powered on and connected to the internet. A power outage during this process carries a severe risk of bricking your device!
